Pragma

Form follows conviction.

Swiss roots that goes beyond watchmaking

The starting point was not aesthetics. It was a question: how do you bring complexity and refinement to an object without turning it into a statement about itself?

The P1 — Perseverance is 39mm in diameter, 10.4mm in profile. It carries two sub-dials and a date aperture — not because complications signal quality, but because they reflect the kind of mechanical thinking that Pragma was built around. Everything on the dial is there because it is useful.

The case architecture references the structural logic of Swiss alpine lodge and traditional carpentry: layered construction, visible joints, no ornament without structural role. The crown is machined in tantalum — a metal denser than steel, with a surface resistance that develops a specific tactile memory over time. The caseback is sapphire, because transparency about what is inside is not a design choice. It is a position.

Tradition and innovation in material selection

Pragma combines traditional Swiss craftsmanship with advanced material engineering, ensuring that every watch reflects both heritage and modernity.
Collaborating with esteemed Swiss partners such as Panatere and Chronode, we integrate:

_Recycled Solar Stainless Steel (Panatere) – A pioneering material forged using solar energy, significantly reducing environmental impact.

_100% Recycled Titanium (Chronode) – Used for bridges and plates in our movement, ensuring both durability and sustainability.

_CORDURA re/cor™ – A high-performance recycled textile for watch straps, balancing comfort and resilience.

_Reishi™ Fine Mycelium – A groundbreaking plant-based alternative to leather, redefining luxury with biofabricated materials.

Functionality and durability

The case is machined from Solar Stainless Steel — 100% recycled, 165 times fewer CO₂ emissions than conventional steel, mechanically identical. The movement’s bridges and baseplate in recycled Grade 5 titanium give the watch a presence denser than it appears and lighter than expected. The strap, in Cordura re/cor™, follows the same logic.

The P1 does not have Pragma’s name on the dial. It does not need to.

“Each Pragma timepiece blends nature’s beauty with Swiss precision, inspired by Swiss architects and engineering feats. Our designs reflect the harmony of nature and human ingenuity, ensuring durability and innovation.”
