Pragma

Precision is not a claim. It is a method.

A caliber made to last

The Pragma Calibre 1031-1 is a certified chronometer. Not because certification is required, but because it is verifiable. An ISO 3159 standard means that the movement performs within −4/+6 seconds per day across five positions and three temperatures. That is the minimum we accept for a movement that carries our name.

The movement was developed with Chronode SA. Its bridges and baseplate are machined from 100% recycled Grade 5 titanium — the same alloy used in aerospace applications, chosen here because its density and dimensional stability under thermal variation are measurably superior to conventional options. Not for marketing. For performance.

100% Swiss-made

Unlike the industry standard that allows watches to be labeled “Swiss Made” with only 60% of their manufacturing costs incurred in Switzerland, Pragma goes beyond.

Our watches are entirely designed, manufactured, and assembled in Switzerland—without compromise.

How do we prove it?

All material origins and supplier details are openly documented and accessible via the annex of our product pages.

By setting this new standard in transparency, we are giving collectors and enthusiasts the certainty that every Pragma watch is built with the highest integrity.

Eco-materials with proven performance

Including a patented process developed by Panatere® that utilizes solar energy to extract and recycle stainless steel.

The 39 mm cases and pin buckles, created in collaboration with Voutilainen & Cattin SA, are made entirely of recycled solar steel from Panatere SA.

The movements, produced in partnership with Chronode SA, feature bridges and plates made of 100% recycled titanium.

Why does this matter?

It ensures unparalleled quality control and mechanical precision.

It guarantees full mastery over every step of production.

It strengthens consumer trust in the true meaning of Swiss craftsmanship.

5 Years

Guarantee on our caliber developed in collaboration with Chronode SA.

Tradition and innovation in material selection

The case is machined from Solar Stainless Steel, produced by Panatere SA using a solar-powered furnace that concentrates solar energy to generate the temperatures required for metal transformation. 100% recycled steel input. 165 times fewer CO₂ emissions than conventional steel. Mechanically identical. Cases and pin buckles produced by Voutilainen & Cattin SA.

The indices are produced by Comblémine SA in 5N gold. The strap by L’Atelier du Bracelet in recycled Cordura re/cor™. Each partner is named. Each material is documented. This is not a supply chain — it is an ecosystem built on accountability.
